Among the items present here in Col. Neilson's papers are a 1783 military receipt, the 1791 registration document for the sloop James, a 1791 bond relating to a lottery, a 1791 letter from P[eter] Wilson (and Neilson's draft response) concerning the presidency of Queens College, a 1797 letter from Robert Finley, and an 1800 receipt for a slave. | |||||||||||
