ISSUE FILES, 1959-1976 |
|
Arrangement: Grouped by issue number and
thereunder arranged alphabetically by folder headings (ignoring most given
names).
|
|
Summary: The files for each magazine issue
begin with number 7 and vary in content. They typically include prose and
poetry copy (usually typescripts marked for a typesetter) and are often
accompanied in some fashion by edited or unedited proofs (galley and page,
plus mock-ups). Also present for some issues are advertising, content,
contributor and/or publicity information. The data on the contributors
sometimes includes biographical letters received from them.
