An Exhibition and discussion of the dramatic and rhetorical use of SMALL Images With Scans Taken From the Original Woodblocks |
|
"Vertigo, by Lynd Ward" is a collaboration within the Rutgers University Libraries between the Scholarly Communication Center (SCC) and Special Collections and University Archives. It was mounted in conjunction with a gallery exhibition of the woodblocks created by Lynd Ward for his graphic novel Vertigo (1937), scheduled to run February 2, 2003 to March 22. Scans of the woodblocks have been formatted as Djvu files and the free Djvu plug-in is necessary in order to to view them. This is available as a free download at Lizard Tech Software, which provides user-friendly directions for download and configuration. The woodblocks used for this exhibition were donated to the Rutgers University Libraries by Robin Ward Savage and Nanda Ward. The images in the exhibition are copyright protected by Robin Ward Savage. | |
